 The design for this helmet is based on the shell of Suomy’s Extreme helmet representing the top of its line. The graphics by noted designer Aldo Drudi are the ideal complement to the Ducati Corse line in leather. The Italian flag wrapping around the middle of the helmet is an explicit reference to Ducati’s Italian heritage.

The 1970s marked a period of transition when Ducati signed on Giorgetto Giugiaro, one of the most prominent names in Italian design, to make studies of motorcycles and develop ideas for the new symbol. The banner logo that characterized the motorcycles of that era first appeared in 1977.

The Speed Pants 07 have homologated composite protection on shins and knees and interchangeable customise sliders.
