PERSHING 64' Yacht

Pershing 64 Made in Italy

Avant-garde design, innovation, technology and ultimate comfort – these are the keywords that have given life to the new Pershing 64’. The latest model released by the Marches-based shipyard, this private yacht is a symbol of the “Made in Italy” title, a type of design admired by national and international yachting enthusiasts.

The motivation that guided the creation of the highly successful Pershing 72’ was the company’s commitment to “surprising the future.” This moniker has inspired every stage in the design and construction of the new Pershing craft, an aggressive, streamlined 64-footer specially created for those who don’t accept compromises, love comfort, space and luxury of flybridge craft, and the excitement of open sports-style performance.

This unique combination of values and characteristics has once again been made possible by the unconventional imagination of Fulvio De Simoni, the yacht designer who has always succeeded in capturing the spirit with which the shipyard and President Tilli Antonelli approach every new project. Like Antonelli, De Simoni is always ready to accept the challenge of breaking new ground and moving forward the frontiers of yachting with style and flair.

Forerunner of an authentic revolution in terms of style and functionality, the Pershing 64’ includes, amongst its many features, an elegant and harmonious longside window that gives the craft’s structure a particularly sleek appeal, as well as making the spacious saloon and helm station area much brighter. The Pershing 64’ has an ambitious design and the most important feature of life onboard is undoubtedly the vast saloon that stands out immediately. This area can be completely closed and air conditioned to achieve the privacy of a sophisticated lounge. Alternatively, thanks to an exclusive slideaway glass partition separating the internal saloon from the external cockpit, the whole area can be opened up to the sky.

This solution enables the Pershing 64’ to place the saloon and cockpit on the same level and create a unique amount of continuity between the outside and inside of the craft. Here, the sensation is the same as that of standing on a huge terrace overlooking the sea-- and to intensify the feeling even further, the craft is fitted with the shipyard’s latest generation hard top that slides back to adjust the degree of shade in the cockpit. This feature endows the model with an unimaginable level of liveability and spatial flexibility, making it ideal for both Mediterranean climates, thanks to its open yacht appearance, and tropical temperatures that often require interior air conditioning.

An incredible sense of space is the criteria behind all the furnishings and fittings, which include a large horseshoe-shaped sofa, a comfy lounger, and a cabinet with slideaway TV. The wengè flooring and the foldaway oak table (an exclusive Pershing design) combine to create a warm, refined atmosphere in the upper saloon.

And that’s not all. The real jewel in the crown of the craft is the precious partnership with Poltrona Frau, Italy’s most prestigious and internationally famous leather furniture manufacturer, who has already worked with Pershing on perfecting the interiors of the shipyard’s 72 footer.

On the Pershing 64’, the entire pilot house, all the seating and other leather details (such as the wall and ceiling panels, the dashboard, etc) have been exclusively designed and made by Poltrona Frau. Great care has also been taken over color schemes to ensure that the style and tone of every item matches its environment. The ivory white of the sofas and lounger in the saloon are based on the famous Eos model created by the house from Tolentino. The Heritage black of the leather details in the cabins and the chocolate brown of the steering wheel, dashboard and helm station were also created from classic design principals.

As you continue to explore the interiors you will enjoy an innovative layout in which the galley is located on an intermediate level so it communicates directly with the upper saloon.

This brilliant idea leaves the area below deck completely free to become a luxurious night zone with cabins of an exceptional size for this category. But the Pershing 64’ galley is not only conveniently located, it is also splendidly organized with an ergonomic and convivial work area and comprehensive fittings and equipment, including a dishwasher, stainless steel sink, four-ring glass ceramic hob, combined microwave oven, and fridge and freezer column.

The Master Cabin is a real full-beam suite. It is beautifully furnished with a central berth, lounger, vanity unit, flat screen TV, and a spacious entrance area fitted with a particularly large wardrobe, mini-bar and a handy chest of drawers. Light plays a major role in this environment, thanks to two large, open-view windows situated on both sides. These offer breathtaking views of vast seascapes directly at wave level and the cheerful, bright atmosphere is further enhanced by the natural tones of the oak, leather and fabric finishings. The bathroom has the same airy spaciousness, this time enhanced by a contemporary, minimalist style. Great care has been taken over every detail here as well. The elegant basin with twin taps is another exclusive Pershing design and the timeless refinement of the mosaic tiling in the shower is no other than Bisazza.

Moving further along towards the bows, passengers will come to the starboard guest cabin featuring twin berths, an in-suite bathroom and separate shower. They might then come across the VIP cabin, a luxurious, double berth environment, with an in-suite bathroom and spacious wardrobes, that is so large it compares with that of the Master Cabin on normal yachts of this size.

Moving outside you can find all the advantages usually offered only by larger yachts, such as the double stairway accessing the spacious cockpit. This area includes a barbecue unit, an L-shaped sofa, and a folding teak table. Under the vast central sundeck is a huge hangar that can store a tender the size of a jet ski. The tender is launched using the stowaway telescopic gangway that doubles as a crane. The innovative windshield on the Pershing 64’ also deserves a special mention. Constructed from a single pane of glass, the shield offers panoramic visibility stretching for 3.75 metres without interruptions.

The walkways for reaching the fore sundeck are particularly wide and designed to make moving around the boat easy and totally safe. The crew cabin (complete with its own restroom and shower) can be reached from the cockpit.

In terms of performance, the craft’s twin 1550 hp MAN engines and Arneson ASD 14L drives, guarantee peak speeds of no less than 46 knots. This again demonstrates the boat’s remarkably high standards and confirms the shipyard’s insistence on making its mission to create only yachts where design and style are perfectly integrated with an ability to offer intense emotions, a priority in every new project. A further test of creativity and experience and yet another step forward in product innovation that has once again rewritten sector rules, the Pershing 64’ already demonstrates that this is a craft destined to be ahead of the times, even in the design sphere, thanks to its revolutionary forms and styles.

Lifestyle is no longer just about life on land, it is now finding new forms of expression in yachting as this is a sector that perfects living solutions by reorganizing and personalizing space as well as dedicating the utmost care to interior design and materials.
